Cut Off My Legs, Give Me Wings

Sculptural work exhibited at The Mint House in Pevensey, East Sussex as part of the exhibition 'Wishbone.' The work is informed by a personal period of illness and folktales of animal transformation and curses. I wanted to create something that required abilities in anatomical sculpting and realism in skin texture, as well as accurate scale. Process images are available to view in my portfolio.
