Mater Noctua (47x36cm)

Mater Noctua celebrates motherhood and the biological similarities and differences between the animal and human. Inspired by Biblical depictions of angels and carvings of creatures often found in historic British buildings, the work explores inbetween states of beforelife, the inhuman and midflight.
