Concept design sketches for Catherine's corpse. Inspired by Filipino 'bleeding heart doves' who appear to bleed through their chests. From Emily Bronte's descriptions, Catherine looks almost unchanged in death, and this idea is translated through colouring that suggests Catherine continues to live in death by bleeding.
